EPA Compliance

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been determined with enforcing new rules and regulations that stand by the Clean Air Act established in 1970. The regulations implemented by this federal law have now prohibited the sale, advertising for sale, and installation of any product that alters the emission control devices on a vehicle. Emission control devices include any catalytic converters or products that control the way they’re normally used.
As of February 14, 2016 any products fitting the description of these devices can no longer be sold in the U.S. per the EPA. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, vehicle emissions have become “areas of concern” and must be treated as such. Currently, the only exception to purchasing these products would be solely for track use. This means that the vehicle would only be used for one purpose only and that is track racing. In order to ensure that this law is being followed by users, Euromotive Performance requires for a Vehicle Compliance Waiver to be signed and completed by an individual or business purchasing these performance products.
